Support the Future of New Palm Education Center

New Palm Education Center, located in Chitipa, North Malawi, is the next chapter in the legacy of Palm Private Secondary School, which has served the community for over 20 years. This newly rebranded center goes beyond traditional academics, providing structured mentorship and personal development for young learners and the surrounding community.

Empowering Youth Through Education & Mentorship

We have a group of learners with big dreams for their future, and we’re committed to supporting them every step of the way. As we prepare to open Standard 8, the final class of primary school where students will sit for their national examinations, our most urgent need is to complete the school hall. This space is essential for learning, assembly, and examination readiness. Completing it will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

Additional infrastructure improvement needs to continue our mission:

The Joy of Learning Lives Here

At New Palm Education Center, education isn’t just about books and classrooms, it’s about building confidence, connection, and community.

The energy, hope, and joy you see in our students as they dance is a reflection of what New Palm stands for: a place where young people are encouraged to dream, grow, and celebrate life.

Every smile and every step is a reminder of what your support makes possible. When you give, you’re not only helping build classrooms, you’re helping nurture joy, pride, and potential.

Be apart of their story.

Help Build a Better Future

Your donation is more than a gift - it's an investment in education, mentorship, and lasting community transformation.

To allow New Palm Education Center and its mentorship wing to thrive, we need to build a foundation that is safe, secure, and inspiring.

These are critical first steps in creating a space where students can not only attend school, but truly grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

Together, we can equip New Palm to serve the next generation of leaders in Chitipa and beyond.

In Loving Memory of

George Miller “Huckleberry” Fox

When George married Mercy, a native of Malawi, he was introduced to New Palm Education Center. He immediately forged a meaningful relationship with both students and staff. George deeply believed in the power of education and uplifting others. Though he passed from cancer, his spirit lives on through this initiative, one that continues to invest in the potential of every student at New Palm.

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on George. He had such a remarkable zeal for doing good—especially when it came to the children at our school. Even though he was only with us for a brief time, he brought a vibrant, uplifting energy that left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. There was so much of a great teacher in him. You could see it in how he engaged, how he listened, and how he inspired.
— Warmly, Willy Mwakapenda (Head of school)
